The best teas grow high in the mountains where the air and soil are pure. Black tea is made from the fully withered and oxidized leaves carefully handpicked from the tea plant. The leaves are rolled to allow its oils and juices to interact with oxygen from the air turning the green leaves into black.
The splendid flavor of this beverage is extracted from the leaves when steeped in hot water. Take note that black tea have a larger surface area compared to those in black tea bags. The larger surface area allows tea drinkers to extract the taste more and enjoy a much full-bodied flavor. Commercially available teas in paper tea bags are pulverized as compared to loose tea leaves.
